And Again

Do not close your eyes to the pain.

One must stay awake,

The walls will remain, no sudden, convalescent Eden

Appeared bestows leaps in agile flexion sans sheaves

Of intricate documentation.

Do not hope for some miraculous transport.

Know here now, and why.

Live in the pain. Breathe the endless moment stretching,

Every novel, quick, consuming sting.

Separate and understand. Know this twist, this pulsing strain.

Experience the heightening spread of patience without choice.

This is now until the next has hatched.

Pain registers in terms of times before.

Movement and memory build tomorrow

And today.
